GIVING TUESDAY AT ST. CATHERINE'S

On Tuesday, December 1st, St. Catherine's will participate in Giving Tuesday, inviting donors to support the school's Campus Ministry Program during a special 24-hour online campaign.

We're hoping to raise $2,500 for the program during this special day of philanthropy.

UPDATE: If we hit our goal of $2,500 on 12/1, a pair of anonymous donors have pledged to match that with a gift totaling $2,500!

Help us make this happen with a gift on 12/1!

Special Giving TueSCday Prizes

In the interest of driving online participation and creating a friendly sense of competition,  the following prizes have been created for all online/phone gifts made on December 1st.

  • The person making the first gift (beginning at 12:01 a.m. on 12/1) will get their choice of a St. Cat's stocking cap from our Lids store, a pair of SC-themed pint glasses or an SC travel mug.
  • The first 10 overall donors making a gift will receive a St. Cat's pint glass.
  • Both the youngest and oldest alum to make a gift on 12/1 will receive their choice of stocking cap, pint glasses or travel mug.
  • Donors making a gift of $100 or more will be entered into a drawing for two free tickets to the 2016 Black and White Ball on April 9th, 2016.  (One entry per every $100 given.)

Giving Tuesday begins at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1st.

Class Competition Giving Challenge

We're hoping alums from all eras choose to make a gift - no matter the denomination - on 12/1.  Not only will the class with the highest number of participants earn Giving Tuesday bragging rights, but they'll also earn a fun prize from St. Catherine's.

About Campus Ministry

This is one of the busiest times of year for the St. Cat's Campus Ministry Program.

At Thanksgiving Mass on November 25th, the group will kick off their annual Christmas Food and Gift Drive, once again being conducted in concert with St. Joseph Catholic Church.

In addition to the Christmas Drive, Ministry students are involved with everything from planning liturgies and prayers services, to conducting fundraisers, to helping with class retreats.

All money raised on Giving Tuesday will help this important program as these students strive to make an even bigger impact on the St. Cat's community and the city of Racine at-large

Help Us Spread the Word!

We'll be using #givingTueSCday to share updates about our progress on 12/1, so please do the same across your social media platforms after making your gift!
