Tim Glidden Named Boys’ Varsity Baseball Coach

Racine, WI (October 29, 2015) – St. Catherine’s is pleased to announce Tim Glidden as the school’s next varsity baseball coach.

Glidden has significant coaching experience in the Racine area.  He served as St. Catherine’s varsity baseball assistant from 2009-2011 and was junior varsity head coach at Racine Park High School from 2011-2014.  Last season he was a varsity assistant for the Panthers.  Glidden was also head coach of the Racine Pride Legion team for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.  Additionally, he has served as an instructor at U.S. Baseball Academy Camps and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Baseball Coaching Clinic.

He has also coached varsity football at St. Catherine’s since 2004, serving on head coach Dan Miller’s staff as quarterbacks and wide receivers coach (2004-2009) and offensive coordinator (2010-present).

"We are very excited to hire Tim as our baseball coach," said John Johnson, Athletic Director. "He has a diverse personal and coaching background that will fit in very well here.  It's a benefit for us because he knows a lot of our student-athletes from coaching football."
Glidden is a technology education teacher at Park High School.
