Tim Glidden Named Varsity Baseball Coach

Glidden has significant coaching experience in the Racine area.  He served as St. Catherine’s varsity baseball assistant from 2009-2011 and was junior varsity head coach at Racine Park High School from 2011-2014.

Josh Cook '15 Awarded Ab Nicholas Scholarship

Cook, who served as varsity boys’ basketball team manager under coach Bob Letsch, is a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He was one of 70 scholarship recipients selected from 450+ applicants, and his $10,000.000 scholarship is renewable annually up to four years.

This year’s inductees include Ivan Lawler ’89 (baseball), Wagner Lester ’89 (football and basketball), Dan Pettit ’87 (football, basketball and baseball), Cathy Poulson ’61 (athletic director and coach), Jenny (Scheller) Howard ’00 (cross country, basketball and soccer) and Marcus West ’93 (soccer and basketball).

Tom Molbeck Named Girls' Varsity Basketball Coach

Molbeck’s coaching experience in the Racine area is wide-ranging. For the past ten-plus years he’s worked with boys and girls ages six to eighteen in a variety of programs, including: St. Catherine’s Middle School, the Racine Storm and Racine Extreme traveling teams and the St. Catherine’s girls’ summer league program.

David Mooney Named Girls' Varsity Tennis Coach

Mooney was the varsity boys' and girls' tennis coach Cudahy HS from 2010-14.  Prior to that, he served as the head women's coach at Concordia University in Mequon (2007-10).

John Johnson Named New Athletics and Activities Director

Serving as an advocate for St. Catherine’s student-athletes, Johnson will develop and maintain a comprehensive athletic program for grades 6-12. In addition to hiring, mentoring and developing all coaches and athletic support staff, he will oversee the operation of all teams while also providing administrative oversight for student activities.
