Art Club

Art Club focuses on seasonal and community projects. With the help of the advisor, the president and vice president of the club should lead the meeting and current project.

African American Hispanic Asian Pacific Native American (AHANA)
Advisors: Marisol Hilliard and Cintia Sanchez

AHANA (African American Hispanic Asian Pacific Native American) is a student-led club dedicated to fostering inclusivity and cultural appreciation at our school by organizing events that celebrate diverse cultures. Through events such as Black History Month and Hispanic Heritage Month, AHANA provides a platform for students to explore and honor the rich histories, traditions, and contributions of various communities. These events are designed to educate and engage the student body, encouraging dialogue and understanding among different cultural groups. AHANA plays an essential role in promoting awareness and respect for diversity, creating a more inclusive and vibrant school environment for everyone.


Drama/SCHS Players

The Drama Club/SCHS Players are responsible for all theatrical productions conducted in the Auditorium. Any students interested are encouraged to see the director anytime during the year.


Environmental Club

Environmental Club is open for anyone who wants to learn more about how they can take an active role in making a positive individual impact on our community.


Future Medical Associates Club

This is a club to explore options in healthcare and medicine among students who aspire to pursue careers in the medical field. This club provides an opportunity for students to explore various aspects of the medical profession, from patient care to medical research. Members engage in hands-on activities, attend guest speaker events with healthcare professionals, and participate in medical simulations, workshops, and community service projects.


Game Club

Game Club teaches problem solving and logic/reasoning skills through competitive and strategic board games.


Guardian Angels

The Guardian Angels club is an exemplary initiative within the school that pairs experienced juniors and seniors with incoming freshmen, providing them with guidance and support as they transition into high school life. These upperclassmen serve as mentors and leaders, offering advice on everything from navigating the school campus to managing academic and social challenges. By fostering a sense of community and belonging, Guardian Angels help freshmen build confidence and establish connections that can enhance their overall high school experience. This mentorship program not only benefits the freshmen but also empowers the juniors and seniors to develop leadership skills, empathy, and a sense of responsibility, creating a positive and inclusive school environment for all. This group is assigned to Freshman Angel Periods. They visit those Angel Periods and form mentor relationships to help with socialization, academics, and other areas.


Interact Club/Campus Ministry Club

Interact and Campus Ministry Club is a combined club where we learn about and live out our faith; getting involved in service, developing leadership skills, and making a positive impact on our community and the world. Students help plan, organize, and put on faith activities and service projects throughout the year.
 

The Lance (Yearbook)
Advisor: Deb Mielcarek

This club works to complete the yearly yearbook. From taking photos to laying out pages, yearbook does it all utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud programs and state of the art cameras.


National Honor Society

Advisors: Dan Howard and Jessica Carrier

The purpose of NHS is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate a desire to render service, promote leadership and develop character among the students. To be eligible for membership, a student must be a junior or senior, have attended SCHS for at least one prior semester, and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5. Candidates are evaluated by a Faculty Council on the basis of service, leadership, and character.


Robotics Club

Students in Robotics learn mechanical design, problem- solving, critical thinking skills, coding, and troubleshooting both hardware and software solutions to complex, real- world problems. Students also document their work and compete in a robotic game 1-2 times per year. There will be one evening STEM event that the Robotics team will participate in to promote their work.


The Shield (Newspaper)

This club gives students the opportunity for collaboration to produce a school newspaper, either in print or digital format. Also serves as a learning environment for various aspects of journalism and media production. Students will gain hands-on experience in all facets of journalism allowing them to develop valuable skills that are transferable to many academic and professional fields. The Newspaper Club publishes four newspapers, one per quarter each school year
 

Student Council

Student Council is a student-led club that plays a vital role in representing the student body and fostering a sense of community within our school. Through organizing events, activities, and initiatives, student councils aim to enhance the school experience, promote school spirit, and encourage student engagement. This group will partake in fundraising events and needs to follow the Siena Catholic Schools financial policies. All fundraising to be approved by the Administration.


Youth Empowered in the Struggle (YES)

YES! Stands for Youth Empowered in the Struggle. It is associated with Vocas de la Frontera. YES focuses on social justice issues, focused on those within Catholic Social Teaching. YES teaches strategies for achieving social justice within our school, Racine, and Wisconsin communities. YES members (mostly officers) also participate in activities and meetings outside of school with other YES members from nearby high schools and colleges, led by the regional YES staff.. We try to actively promote positive changes within our school community that will benefit all.
